Dr. Anita Foley dedicated her career to the provision of high-quality rural healthcare. She was present at the dedication of the new wing named in her honour. Dr. Foley passed away in 2019 and our community and hospital miss her greatly.

The community recently mobilized in response to the need to expand Guysborough Memorial Hospital. The new doctors’ offices provide an outstanding work environment and exceptional convenience.
